The USA Weightlifting NTP Camp has me hyped for the upcoming quad

I don’t know who else has been following, but USA Weightlifting had there first National Team Program camp out at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, and aside from me developing a bit of FOMO from not being out there myself, it has me excited to see how the team does over the next few years.

With the next Summer Olympics being in Los Angeles, it looks like our lifters are starting to turn up the dial and the competition is heating up. Kolbi Ferguson hit a massive 400-lb snatch and 500-lb clean and jerk, Caden Cahoy totalled 350 kgs (which would’ve been good for a silver medal at the Paris Olympics). Olivia Reeves is hitting unofficial snatch and total world records, and Hampton Morris is making 300+ totals commonplace now. Knowing all these athletes, too, I’m thrilled to see their hard work coming to fruition.

With all that said, which lifters are yall most excited to see this quad? On or off of the NTP. The depth in Team USA is growing and it’s early in the quad, which means it’s still anyone’s game.
